hi, i’m libby!
sister, music lover, coffee snob, best friend and graphic designer

i have loved art and creativity since i was young, but always struggled to express myself through the traditional art channels we are given throughout childhood and school. at the age of 14 i was introduced to photoshop and illustrator and fell in love, i could organise images and writing about the things i LOVED in beautiful and new ways – and i’ve been obsessed since.

after studying graphic communication courses, at both GCSE and A-Level, back in Wiltshire i decided to sign-up for Cardiff Met’s graphics course. i fell in love with the city and the course and grew into myself more than i could imagine.

i am passionate about inequality in our society – whether this is about gender, class, race or the environment, and i try to have conversations about this through my work. my 3rd year of university has been centred around designing for the causes i am interested in, one surrounded objects and the way we are manipulated to buy the latest trends, one called out the toilet roll companies using chemicals that negatively affect the female reproductive system and another supported venues and exposed the government for their lack of funding to save the grassroots music scene. i have loved exploring different ways to portray these social issues via design, and would love to continue creating these behaviour change designs in the future.

in my spare time you’ll find me with a coffee, reading or listening to music. i have been attending live music and arts events since i was 10 years old, something that has had a huge impact on me as a creative. i love a coffee, some would say too much, and i love spending my time in a coffee shop or perfecting the perfect espresso at home .
fancy a coffee? let’s connect!
